Our course consists of three integrated parts that work together to build a solid foundation in reading and writing.

(Rising 7th-12th) Our academic writing class has a track record of producing successful students, who have earned over 150 awards in the prestigious Scholastic National Writing Contests in the past two years. This includes a national gold medal and two national silver medals, which attests to the high-level writing skills our students possess. Such accomplishments provide a significant advantage when applying to private high schools or colleges.​

Our flagship course combines 35 years of experience with expert instruction and the highest attention to detail. This one-on-three class helps students master reading comprehension, develop a robust vocabulary, and write effective essays.

(Rising 7th - 12th)
Our experienced teacher will guide students through the process of turning a blank sheet of paper into a captivating tale, weaving together different voices and plots to create something truly remarkable. Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to workshop their drafts and receive personalized feedback, helping them refine their writing skills and produce polished work that meets the high standards of the Scholastic Writing Contest.

(Rising 9th - 12th) Taught by Ms. B, an experienced AP English teacher in FBISD, this course provides students with the must-have skills needed to succeed in challenging Pre-AP and AP English courses. Using an AP English classroom setup, students will read a variety of complex fiction and nonfiction texts, including primary works by Shakespeare, and will learn how to analyze and write about them at an advanced level.

(Rising 9th - 12th) Are you looking to improve your in-class timed essay writing skills for your high school English courses? Our expert instructor, Ms. B, can help you achieve high scores with her proven strategies!

(Rising 3rd - 8th) Our experienced instructors will guide students through a range of public speaking techniques, from mastering body language and tone, to delivering impactful speeches with ease. With a focus on developing clear and effective communication skills, this course will help your child excel in any situation, from small group presentations to larger public speaking events.

Students will learn how to express themselves clearly before audiences, both in large and small settings. This class emphasizes speech, body language, voice, and tone, paired with proper expressions that they should use in various situations. Students will also gain confidence and learn techniques enabling them to start speeches and discussions quickly and with ease. They will also be trained to compete in public speaking tournaments.

(Rising 5th - 9th, Our coaches have a proven track record of success, with students winning LD State and National championships, as well as LD and PF finalists, semifinalists, and quarter finalists in multiple national and local debate tournaments.
